The Career Center helps students develop career objectives and encourages active involvement with the school and community. We provide job skills, internship opportunities, employment avenues, and other resources. Meanwhile, students receive one-on-one counseling and attend sessions covering resume writing, interviewing, job searches, and other similar strategies necessary to find a great job.

Handshake is the #1 way students find jobs. Students can connect with employers, explore career options, apply for jobs, and get discovered. Additionally, all 1-1 career and academic advising appointments with our Career Staff members will be scheduled via Handshake. Lastly, students use Handshake to discover and RSVP for networking events, information sessions, workshops, and on-campus events. All students can register with their SFBU email credentials.
