Bio
Dr. Yasin Ceran a data scientist and computer science researcher with over eight years of experience in machine learning, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. His research focuses on the design, implementation, and evaluation of computational models, including predictive algorithms, statistical learning methods, and data mining techniques, to solve complex, data-intensive problems. His work primarily utilizes Python and related programming frameworks for scalable data analysis and algorithm development.
He previously served as an Associate Professor at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), where he taught and conducted research in computer science–related areas, including data science, artificial intelligence, and management information systems. He earned my Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Dallas and have published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and refereed international conferences. His research interests include machine learning algorithms, data-driven systems, decision support systems, and the application of artificial intelligence in real-world computing environments.
