Bio
Dr. Mariam Ghazvini is a professional mentor, coach, and educator with extensive experience in leadership development, emotional intelligence, management practices, and human resources. She brings a multidisciplinary background that integrates higher education, counseling, and organizational leadership, with a strong focus on personal and professional growth.
Dr. Ghazvini holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Southern California. Her academic training is complemented by graduate degrees in counseling, education, and finance, allowing her to approach leadership and human development from both analytical and human-centered perspectives. Her recent teaching and professional focus centers on Positive Intelligence, emotional intelligence, and leadership effectiveness.
Professionally, Dr. Ghazvini has held senior leadership, counseling, and consulting roles across higher education, high tech, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector. She currently serves as a Graduate Student Success Counselor at San Francisco Bay University, where she provides counseling services, develops leadership-focused programs, and collaborates with faculty and staff to support graduate student success. Previously, she served for more than a decade at San Francisco Bay University as Director of Counseling, Career Services, and Alumni Relations, as well as Faculty in the School of Business.
Dr. Ghazvini’s prior experience includes leadership and consulting roles at organizations such as Catholic Charities, Agilent Technologies, Hewlett-Packard, and her own educational and career consulting firms. Across these roles, she has designed and delivered training programs, managed educational initiatives, and supported organizational development and workforce growth. She is passionate about teaching, coaching, and mentoring, and is committed to guiding individuals toward success through self-awareness, leadership development, and emotional intelligence.
