Denise Ho is a human-centered designer, strategist, educator, and executive coach with over 15 years of experience guiding organizations and leaders through complex systems change.
She teaches at California College of the Arts and San Francisco Bay University, where her courses on storytelling, interaction design, and social lab practice blend design research with narrative craft. Denise is passionate about helping students uncover their personal and collective stories while exploring how design can drive social transformation.
Her professional work spans youth mental health at Hopelab—where she centered BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ perspectives in trauma-informed digital design—to more than a decade at IDEO, where she partnered with nonprofits, healthcare systems, and foundations on human-centered solutions. A Radical Aliveness practitioner and executive coach, Denise has supported leaders and organizations including Kaiser Permanente, Mayo Clinic, and Stanford Hospital, bringing together systems thinking, design research, and emotional intelligence to create lasting social impact.
