Bio

Dominic Dabish is a software engineer, educator, and entrepreneur focused on building real-world tech and is passionate about teaching computer science to the next generation of builders. He is an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at San Francisco Bay University, serving in the Department of Engineering and Computer Science. He earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Computer Science from Oakland University, where he also served as a Graduate Fellow. 

He’s spoken at education conferences like e-Cornucopia: Teaching with Technology, presenting on how to use advanced tools to actually keep students engaged. To expand his reach, he launched Coding with Dom (www.codingwithdom.com), a platform that provides students with interactive tools to learn computer science. 

Outside of the classroom, Dabish is a Computer Scientist at Google. He also has experience in software engineering roles at the U.S. Department of Defense, PwC, and other organizations. He’s been part of multiple startups and tech ventures and is always building something new. He’s a member of IEEE and ACM, and serves as the Chairman of WCO – The World Computing Organization (www.worldcomputing.org), a global group for individuals who are passionate about technology.
