Bio
Dr. James Nysather is a full-time Professor in the School of Business at San Francisco Bay University (SFBU), where he has taught since 2008, leading over 125 courses in management, marketing, and brand management. He also teaches organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, and project management. Dr. Nysather founded Global Business Parks, Inc. in 2008, a startup offering directory services for business parks. From 2005 to 2009, he served as Director of Business Development at BASAY Tech Consulting, assisting with market research in China. He also worked at UTStarcom as Marketing Manager in Hangzhou and later as Director of Corporate Development near San Francisco, where he helped integrate eight company acquisitions. Dr. Nysather holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Northwestern Polytechnic University, an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a BS in Marketing and East Asian Studies from St. Cloud State University. He is fluent in Mandarin and currently learning Spanish.
