Enrollment Assistance

Once admitted, future Bayhawks must submit a variety of forms, including proof of health insurance and a tuition deposit. Whether you’re a first-year student or a transfer applicant, staying on top of deadlines and documents can be a tall order.

That’s why at SFBU, you don’t have to do it alone. We have a team of advisors who provide enrollment assistance to ensure your eligibility every step of the way. Admitted students should email the Enrollment Office for support.

Academic Advising

SFBU success counselors guide students in registering for coursework that aligns with their academic and professional goals. This includes a review of necessary prerequisite classes for on-time graduation, as well as aid in choosing elective classes that match each student’s unique interests.

While we require students to meet with a counselor at least once per semester prior to course registration, we encourage you to lean on the Student Success team as often as you need. They’re well equipped to lead forward-looking conversations around your academic journey as the foundation for your professional success.

Career Mobility

Career Development and Mobility

In addition to the industry-aligned competencies we wove into the University’s very fabric, SFBU offers extracurricular career services that prepare graduates for the competitive and dynamic job market ahead. Explore some of the resources you can tap into at every stage of your student journey.

The Career Center guides students and alumni towards brighter futures. In addition to more traditional professional counseling that looks outward and forward, SFBU’s Center places a high importance on school and community engagement. The goal? To remind students that becoming a productive, mature leader doesn’t start at graduation — it’s a journey that begins as  soon as they set foot on our campus.

Within their first year, students receive one-on-one counseling and attend sessions covering resume writing, interviewing and strategic job searching. Then, the Center connects them with potential employers via seminars, job fairs and other outreach activities.

Thanks to our Silicon Valley location and network, the Center provides SFBU students and alumni with an essential edge to keep them competitive in the modern labor market. We work closely with employers in our community to identify the job-specific skills they require so we can ensure that SFBU students exceed expectations.
