The Title IX and Equity Office is available to deliver training on any of the topics listed below. You may also request a tailored training to meet your specific needs.

  • The Distinction Between Privacy and Confidentiality

Mandatory Online Education for Students

All incoming undergraduate and graduate students must complete the in-person Title IX training during the New Student Orientation (NSO). New students must complete the online (via CANVAS) Title IX training if they could not attend the in-person training at the NSO.

Mandatory Online Education for Employees

New Employee
All employees are required to complete the annual online training (via Hylant online training portal) titled Anti-Harassment Training for Employees - California

Continuing Employees
All SFBU employees (including managers, supervisors, lead employees, and non-supervisory employees) are required to complete an additional online training every two years titled Anti-Harassment Training for Employees - California.
