Bio

Dr. Henry Chang has 33 years of academic leadership, administration, and teaching experience at San Francisco Bay University (SFBU), along with nearly 40 years in the computer industry across the U.S., China, Taiwan, and Korea. At SFBU, he has served as Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs and Chair of the Computer Engineering Program, teaching in the CS, CSE, and EE programs. Dr. Chang is the primary architect of the CS and CSE curricula and has fostered key partnerships with industry, educational institutions, and government agencies. In his industry career, he co-founded four companies, held technical leadership roles, including 18 years at HP, and served as CTO for multiple startups. Outside of work, Dr. Chang enjoys reading and film, and in 2006, he founded the Silicon Valley Movie and Literature Club, a community of 280 members dedicated to cinema and literature discussions.
